Bali is a big source of inspiration for me. I've spent a lot of time there. It's the place where I took my first surfing photos, it's the place where I came ut with the idea to make prints form my photos, it's the place where I designed my first product which was a pair of slip on shoes. Bali, and in this case Pantai Batu Bolong, is also where I took this photo that is one in a series of photos that I entered to International Photo Awards, and got nominated for. I didn't win but my work got recognized. And that's maybe more important to me. I didn't start photographing because I wanted to make a career out of it, I started because I find the world so incredibly beautiful and I just couldn't stop taking pictures of it. I was, and still am, hoping that other people would see the beauty of the world and therefore stop destroying it.
